Verification of smart antenna systems with the Centre for Intelligent Antenna and Radio Systems (CIARS) at the University of Waterloo. I developed and implemented automated testing procedures for new radar technology. Wrote python scripts for precision motion stages, designed and assembled custom test fixtures, and acquired data for Synthetic Aperture.

I worked with the engineering team to develop a minimum viable product for Suncayr's UV-indicating consumer product, SPOT­™. The company was a small startup ready for market entry, and I worked with the CTO to facilitate Suncayr's first successful manufacturing run of 300 000+ units, as well as improving device functionality and preparing the product for.

VivaSpire was an early-stage medical device startup. While there, I conceptualized, designed, and prototyped a portable oxygen concentrator which was able to produce 10x more oxygen than the previous proof-of-concept. I had full responsibility of developing the mechanical and electrical systems, including PCB design, mechanical CAD, and design.

I conducted prototype performance & characterization tests on concept automotive oil pumps and motors. I supported the Advanced Engineering (R&D) team with test lab development, including transducer set-up and calibration. I ultimately saw the advancement of my project to the tooling phase, while also furthering development in production-level tasks.
