CurrentA member of the insurance industry for over 30 years; a licensed insurance agent since 1991. I have held positions working for individual agencies, insurance carriers, a general agency, and as an agent consultant. On a daily basis I work with clients in assisting them with the marketing of their health insurance plans and any related service issues that arise. My knowledge of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) compliance and the healthcare industry are a benefit to my clients. I have been actively training agents and small and large company HR staff members for many years. I incorporate current and historical industry information into each of my training sessions. Training and assisting clients find the right fit for them is a passion for me.I have held many positions on the board of the Ventura County Association of Health Underwriters (VCAHU), including a past President. I am currently serving as their Legislative Chair and will be starting my 5th year in this position in July 2020. I also currently serve as the Adopt-a-Leg chair for the California Association of Health Underwriters (CAHU). I was awarded CAHU Member of the Year in October, 2019.I am also a certified Health Insurance Professional (HIP) which is recognized by the National Association of Health Underwriters.
