I am a third-year PhD student in Cell and Molecular Biology at Boston University, with a strong foundation in neuroscience and bioengineering. My research focuses on neuromodulation and dendritic activity, investigating how calcium signaling in apical dendrites impacts soma spiking. My interdisciplinary background combines rigorous training in neurobiology with engineering lab expertise, allowing me to develop both computational and experimental skills essential for advancing our understanding of complex neurological processes.Over the years, I have gained extensive experience with microscopy (including confocal, two-photon, and electron microscopy), coding (Python, MATLAB), and various laboratory techniques such as tissue preparation and genetic assays. Additionally, I am passionate about humanitarian work, serving as the President of Mriya Inc., a nonprofit organization I co-founded, which delivers critical aid to Ukraine.I am motivated by my desire to drive impactful research and innovation in neuroscience and oncology, continually looking to apply my skills to projects that have the potential to improve lives.
