I was accountable for developing SYSCOM’s Insurance Vertical Practice, focusing on Tier 1 and Tier 2 Property and Casualty Insurance carriers. I managed the company’s systems integration business for new and existing clients and created a text-mining solution tailored for Insurance carriers. This solution included IBM’s Enterprise Content Management, Business Process Management, and Text Analytics solutions.

SceneGenesis provides web-based workflow and connectivity solutions to enhance the claims-handling process for insurers, independent appraisers, and shops. Their connectivity solutions, SceneAccess and SceneExchange, facilitate the electronic transfer of information, including images, streamlining the traditionally paper-heavy process.SceneExchange is an online platform connecting body shops that can repair vehicles with owners seeking service providers. Shops can join the SceneExchange network for free, submit bids based on repair time, and attract more vehicles for repairs.I oversaw the national sales and marketing teams for SceneGenesis, spearheading the launch of SceneExchange and expanding the customer base for SceneAccess. Beyond sales and marketing, my responsibilities included business development, product management, and project management. SceneGenesis was acquired by Mitchell International in November 2009.

I was responsible for selling BPM-based Policyholder Servicing, Claim, Marketing, and Decision Management solutions to Tier 1 property/casualty and life insurance carriers in the Northeast Region. I worked in conjunction with IBM Global Services to provide the BPM platform for their successful application outsourcing at Cigna.Developed C-Level relationships with business and IT executives in Travelers, The Hartford, Cigna, AIG, MassMutual, Genworth Financial, ACE International, and Healthnet.

I was recruited by Metaserver when they were a start-up company to assist in raising a $25M Series C round of venture capital funding. I collaborated with the engineering team to introduce a Business Process Integration solution to the market, focusing on the insurance industry. I recruited a team of 30 salespeople and 10 marketing professionals nationwide.At Metaserver, we worked with an insurance carrier in the Northeast to create a repeatable Property/Casualty Integration Solution, offering carriers straight-through processing capabilities with IVANS. Metaserver was acquired by Whitehill in 2005 and is now part of Oracle.

My role at BEA Systems was to increase its market share with New England-based insurance carriers. I successfully sold enterprise licenses for BEA's J2EE application server technology and solutions to The Hartford Insurance Group, Phoenix Life, Cigna, and Travelers. I also managed relationships with system integration partners to provide implementation services.

I started working at DataMirror as the Manager of Strategic Alliances for Microsoft, J.D. Edwards, and System Integration partners when the company was a startup with revenue below $500K.In 1997, I took on the role of Regional Sales Manager, overseeing direct and channel sales teams in the Eastern U.S. and Canada. My focus was on enterprise data replication and high-availability solutions. DataMirror was acquired by IBM in 2009 and is now included in IBM's InfoSphere offerings.
