With eleven years of experience as a community peace officer, my skills and abilities allow me to integrate seamlessly into any organizational structure. I have held multiple positions from front-line patrol to shift supervisor and instructor in first aid, women's self-defense, and mental health first aid. I pride myself on strong interpersonal skills and the ability to solve complex physical and social problems. My recent career change to Primary Care Paramedic with Medavie Health Services west has allowed me to work in a detail-focused orientated position. My compassion for those in need lends itself to a client-family-focused paramedic practice. I am constantly striving to perfect my skills and increase my knowledge to be better prepared for the next emergency. As a recent graduate of the Manitoba Emergency Services College, I've had the opportunity to train with some of the prairie's best instructors. my current certifications can be seen in my education profile, indicating my commitment to seeking knowledge at every opportunity. I'm committed to serving my community and hold two positions with the local fire department. As a firefighter, instructor, and as community first responder, these positions allow me to continue my search for knowledge and service.
