Delivered a comprehensive guidebook on veteran and military hiring used nationally to train over 20,000 SHRM- certified HR professionals via the Veterans at Work Certificate program. This established best-practices for hiring managers, providing guidance on how to engage with military-connected employees and increasing cultural competence among hiring managers. and HR leaders and encourages small, medium, and large businesses to develop military-connected hiring initiatives, mentoring programs, and upskilling programs.• Nurtures enduring client relationships, collaboration, and strategic partnerships with external organizations including SHRM, USAA, Fiserv, Military Officers of America (MOAA), SVA. • Directs and manages high-impact projects for nonprofits from conception to completion (strategic partnerships, focus group facilitation, stakeholder analysis, training and technical assistance, surveys, program evaluations, policy analysis,) assuming responsibility for strategy, business development, quality, budget management, project oversight, quality assurance, compliance, and stewardship. •Leads key partnerships, consortiums, working groups, and initiatives with employers, philanthropic partners, and higher education to disseminate best practices, share evidence-based findings, and develop critical projects that fill knowledge gaps, improve programs, and advance service delivery on behalf of veterans and military spouses.•Lead speaker, author, and recognized subject matter expert and author of IVMF’s signature work on veteran and military spouse employment, military transition, community capacity building, cultural competence, economic opportunity through employment pathways, and military transition. • Facilitates, plans, and leads convenings training and technical assistance for stakeholders and community-based organizations to develop and disseminate best practices, increase community capacity, and scale evidence-based practices. Invited speaker selected to present spouse employment data to DoD’s Military Spouse Employment Partnership audience of 200 employers. Recent panelist focused on military transition at National Association of State Workforce Agencies, The Hiring our Heroes Spouse Employment Summit, and The Henry Jackson Leadership Forum. •Oversees high-profile and complex qualitative and quantitative projects from conception to delivery leading to deliverables such as programs, new services as well as policy briefs, journal articles, op-eds, and book chapters to inform advocacy efforts and align organizational policy goals with desired outcomes. Topics have included veteran and military spouse employment, childcare, economic opportunity, workforce development, and STEM education.

•Data-Driven Policy Recommendations: Led a 20-member multidisciplinary, dispersed team of mixed-method researchers to compile and analyze data from over 7,500 diverse military family households annually during Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF). These efforts yielded essential policy recommendations and informed decision-makers on issues such as military spouse employment, deployment, childcare, military child education, caregiving, mental health, disability services, and state and barriers to military benefit access.•Strategic Advocacy and Awareness Building: Co-created the BSF annual military lifestyle survey report, crafting recommendations. Released alongside House and Senate military family caucuses, these efforts significantly elevated awareness of military family issues as crucial to national security, garnering attention from the White House, senior government leaders, academic researchers, and the press. •Policy Publications and White House Briefings: Managed a team of 10-14 volunteer note-takers, consolidating key themes for presentation to senior leaders in the Executive Branch to encourage inter-agency and cross-sector collaboration, data sharing, and public-private partnership. Authored two annual publications that summarized recommendations from executives across government, private, and nonprofit sectors, subsequently briefed at the White House and for Members of Congress;

•National Research Agenda: Spearheaded the development of a national strategic research agenda focused on economic opportunities for veterans and military spouses, policy on military spouse employment, military childcare, overseas employment, military family mental health, and transferability of educational benefits.•Financial Oversight and Growth: Oversaw the execution of a $1 million budget, securing grant funding from 20+ corporate sponsors, and doubling the survey budget in a single year, from $250,000 to $500,000, through effective cost-accounting measures, grant writing, and stewardship and cultivation of business opportunities.•Testimony and Subject Matter Expertise: Delivered written and verbal testimony before the 2013 Military Compensation and Retirement Modernization Commission, summarizing healthcare, transition, and employment needs of military families with evidence-based recommendations, representing 1.5 million military and veteran family members.

• Managed a multi-disciplinary team to design and develop next-generation clinical support tools (e.g., PTSD, depression, opioid use, military sexual assault) delivered across the entire military health system of 9.5 million beneficiaries.• Oversaw the project management, implementation, and delivery of a clinical support tool that was adopted and disseminated across the DoD and VA. Fostered relationships with both the private and public sectors for the purposes of advancing evidence-based mental health practice across the Military Health System (MHS) of three million active-duty members, 20 million veterans, and their families.• Developed evidence-based clinical support tools used by 370 clinic managers across the military health system to evaluate themselves against VA/DoD Clinical Practice Guidelines on the treatment of posttraumatic stress disorder.• Convened and facilitated multi-disciplinary focus groups of 50+ nationally recognized experts across the DoD and VA health system to develop consensus-based recommendations that enabled DoD/VA clinicians to provide evidence-based practice guidelines on pain management with opioids at the onset of the opioid crisis.
