During my tenure at PRMG, I served as a valuable member of the network infrastructure team, providing tier 3 level support for escalated issues from the help desk and desktop support teams. I played a key role in administering our hybrid environment, proficiently managing both on-premises Hyper-V infrastructure and Microsoft Azure cloud services.As part of my responsibilities, I oversaw the Active Directory environment, handling DNS and Group Policy configurations. I adeptly managed and maintained over 100 Windows servers, including some Linux servers, ensuring seamless operations across the network.Additionally, I took charge of administering essential components of Microsoft 365, skillfully handling SharePoint file and documentation access, Microsoft Teams, and Teams sites. Managing Microsoft Exchange Online with over 3000 end-user mailboxes was another crucial aspect of my role, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration for the organization.With a keen focus on data protection, I diligently tested backups, skillfully employing backup software like "Datto" for on-premises backups and leveraging Azure for cloud backups. Additionally, I proficiently configured and built out Fortinet Firewalls, providing secure and reliable networking solutions to our various sites across the country.As part of my proactive approach, I continuously monitored the health of our server environment, primarily hosted on Azure as virtual machines. Noteworthy projects I successfully spearheaded include an On-prem public folder migration to the cloud, SDWAN cutovers for larger branches, Azure resource clean up, and efficiently spinning up new servers to address any unexpected failures.Overall, my role at PRMG encompassed a diverse range of responsibilities, from ensuring a stable and secure network infrastructure to undertaking significant projects that contributed to the organization's growth and success.
