Director
CurrentAs co-founder & Director of Theorise Ltd, I am responsible for a number of tasks including managing our key relationships with our college & university clients across Scotland and all our engaged candidates, the sourcing and recruitment of support staff, and their placement to assist students with SpLDs in their academic progression. This role has required me to take on a number of project management tasks with strict time constraints to be met to ensure that our college & university clients are afforded a first class service and their students receive the support they require in a timely manner.Communication and organisation skills are critical as well as the ability to manage and organise our external education support staff who work with students with specific learning difficulties. The creation and implementation of a thorough and detailed recruitment process is a key part of my role to ensure the highest quality candidates are sourced often with bespoke processes for each college & university and the numerous roles that we provide from Study Skills Tutoring, Mental Health Mentoring, Support Work, Proof Reading and Note Taking.Due to the volume of students that we work with (over 2200 in 23/24 academic year) and the number of support workers (currently over 250) excellent organisation, communication skills and project management is essential in this role in order to ensure every student is placed with a high quality member of our support staff regardless of the role they are involved in.
