Youth Enterprises Australia (YEA), previously IMVC, has over 24 years experience engaging and supporting young people. YEA mobilises untapped early career talent by offering labour solutions for private businesses and public sector organisations to deliver workforce capability, along with ESG and social procurement objectives. YEA is delivered as a six-month training & employment program to help young people transition to longer-term employment.

David came into the for-purpose social enterprise sector from a background in policy development, advocacy and strategic stakeholder engagement in the Australian corporate sector, having held senior management roles at Rio Tinto, Toyota and Amcor. He led strategic community investment programs at all three companies. David also worked in economic development and industry policy in roles with local government and a major industry association in the early phase of his career. Show less

SENVIC was established in early 2018 to build a statewide network of social enterprise practitioners across Victoria. SENVIC aims to support connections, access L&D opportunities and give practitioners an independent and collective voice. I am one of nine founding members and became an inaugural non-executive Director on the Company's incorporation in in 2021, with longstanding experience working within the Victorian social enterprise sector.

The Social Enterprise World Forum Community Interest Company (SEWF CIC) is the leading organisation supporting and promoting the advancement of the global social enterprise movement. The first annual SEWF was held in 2008 in Glasgow. SEWF incorporated as a Community Interest Company in 2013 at which time I was appointed as a Founding Director. As part of the Board's renewal and succession plans, I retired as as non-executive Director of the Company in October, 2020
