I am a recent graduate from UCLA, having obtained both my B.S. and M.S. degrees, the latter of which I specialized in Design, Robotics, and Manufacturing. During my five years at UCLA, I’ve gained an immense amount of knowledge from professors at the top of their fields while supplementing my learning with valuable hands-on experience and projects. In particular, my position as ECVT Cover Project Engineer with UCLA’s Baja SAE team allowed me to hone my manufacturing capabilities, problem-solve with fellow engineers, and network with companies in Southern California. More recently, my graduate studies have provided me with an abundant amount of practical project experience, ranging from designing simulated robotic mammalian tails to pitching a novel drinking fountain adapter to controlling a manipulator arm intended to help out in the kitchen. Outside of UCLA, my experience as a Plant Engineering Intern at the Rehrig Pacific Company provided me with practical experience as I worked to automate the post-manufacturing process of injection molded products. I’ve also worked on a plethora of personal automation projects including a smart-watering plant pot and a trumpet-playing robot with the help of a refurbished 3D printer and various microcontrollers. Beyond engineering, I have a passion for music and was a part of the UCLA Solid Gold Sound marching band where I was most recently one of the ensemble’s drum majors. This leadership position allowed me to develop my delegatory, communication, and time management skills all while the band was participating in unique experiences like performing at the Hollywood Bowl and across parts of Taiwan.
