Teaching ESL in this popular after school program, to young learners age 5 - 10. Classes are given in the evenings and full time on the weekends. Teaching is focused on learning thru fun video, games and activities so that the children absorb the language rather than study it. I am currently teaching levels 1 and 2, starting a drama club and will be teaching the advanced level ESL to the adult Chinese co-teachers.

DadaABC undoubtedly offers and excellent platform for teaching English online and so it's no wonder it is so popular with parents. I made amazing connections with many of my regular students and saw fast progress in their language skills. But, I wasn't a good match for the fast call-center pace of teaching at Dada and only finished my 6 months contract.

Enjoyed 15 seasons with The Santa Fe Opera, overseeing a seasonal department of 65 employees in the costume department of this summer Opera festival. Responsible for: budget, hiring, designer management, purchasing, and production. Worked with the greatest of artists and designers as well as a strong apprentice program made up of 20 summer college age students focused on costume design or costume technology.

I spent an amazing four months in Oman helping to set up the wardrobe and wigs departments for the brand new Royal Opera House. We presented a rigorous schedule of Opera, Ballet and Concerts in this first season, starting with Franco Zefferelli's Turandot. I trained the local Omani staff to do wardrobe work, basic sewing and English vocabulary related to costume and theatre. It was the hardest work of my life and one of the most rewarding experiences.
