As the Virtual Data Center (VDC) Cloud Computing Services (CCS) Program Director, Jesse was responsible for leading a matrixed team of ~40 DevOps engineers, architects, security experts, and project managers who supported application migrations, infrastructure operations, engineering, and cost optimization in AWS. As the Program Director on an earlier contract, he was responsible for maintaining daily operations and ensuring a seamless contract transition-out of a 200+ staff program. Mr. Dean also led strategic initiatives around IT capacity planning, tools strategy, and process improvements. Additionally, he led IT infrastructure business development opportunities within Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and National Institutes of Health (NIH).
