• Skanska Networks – Contract Manager, Jan '03 – Sep ‘05 Skanska Networks is one of the six companies who won the right to manage BT’s external network in the UK. I managed their BT external construction and maintenance.

• Presenting to BT at their monthly delivery review meetings

• Carrier 1 – Contract Project Director, Aug '00 – Dec’02 Carrier 1 was a Telco start-up company based in London Docklands which had just completed its IPO. Reporting to the European Vice President, my role was to manage.

• Planning and approving the duct, fibre and transmission equipment installations
• Agreeing and controlling budget

• Based in London, I was a senior project manager working on the introduction of new technology into BT’s network, including SDH and DWDM projects with a value in excess of £6.5M. The main suppliers were Ericsson, Lucent.

Amsterdam Area, Netherlands

• Working in the Netherlands with Telfort, (a joint venture between BT and the Dutch NS Railways), my role was to design and manage the contract to build the company’s infrastructure network, throughout the Netherlands..

• Running monthly contract meetings with suppliers
• Connecting the network to the Mobile base stations
• Presenting cost savings to Telfort Board

• Performance measuring of contractors and BT staff
• Carrying out audits on vendors

• Designing and delivering training programmes to staff and contractors
