Hi 👋I’m an educator, social worker, and optimizer working to engage and retain top, diverse talent at mission driven startups. Why you want me on your team: I achieve a lot with very little; I operationalize DEI&B principles; and I’m only satisfied when my work reaches the level of impact and effectiveness envisioned – from the macro, mezzo, and micro levels. Macro: I live to disrupt and influence how our society functions through mission driven work in the startup space. Mezzo: I do this by collaborating with cross-functional partners to move my organizations’ mission forward. Whether it’s partnering with Talent Teams to recruit diverse teams; researching and analyzing data to refine our onboarding content and processes; end-to-end management of remote team events and in-person gatherings (onsites & offsites); or developing interactive trainings to equip employees with the necessary industry knowledge to succeed. Micro: As a social worker, I know it’s all about fostering mutual positive regard in a relationship. Whether it’s making myself available to new hires before their start date; collaborating with cross-functional partners on curating moments of delight for their teams; or facilitating feedback sessions with employees: I listen, ask the right questions, and advise those I work with towards the best path forward… and when there isn’t already an established path forward, you ask? Well, we codesign it! Outside of the office (or Zoom screen), you can find me hiking, kitesurfing, or hosting a dinner party with friends where I’m bound to sprinkle in something from the most recent podcast I’ve listened to into the conversation.
