Daniel Pontón Aronoff Email and Phone Number
I am a well-organized and motivated policy and program manager with 6+ years of experience organizing and advocating for communities on issues of equity, justice, and empowerment. I graduated from Princeton’s School of Public and International Affairs with a Master in Public Affairs, and use this training in economic, statistical, political, and behavioral analysis to further inform my career in centering underserved and underrepresented communities. As with any crisis, the world’s climate crisis has disproportionally affected communities of color, low-income neighborhoods, and the global south. What drives me is the opportunity to realize environmental justice with these impacted communities, whose ideas, and movements should ultimately guide climate solutions. Previously, I have worked in education and empowerment projects as a dialogue facilitator with Generation Global and as a Peace Corps volunteer living in the Ecuadorian Amazon. I also have experience organizing with communities and coalitions towards equity and relief during the pandemic in my role with Unidad Latina en Acción and with Princeton Mutual Aid. Now, I feel compelled to use my experience and education to help prevent climate collapse.
