I'm David Carrillo, and I've been on an incredible journey in the AdTech industry these past several years, successfully managing a fantastic team of Solutions Architects and Solutions Engineers. Over the years, I've immersed myself in this dynamic field, and my passion for innovation has driven me to exciting heights.My career in this industry began in 2003, and in 2012, I embarked on an enriching chapter with Marin Software. From Senior Solutions Architect, I advanced to the role of Director of Professional Services by 2016. In 2017, I proudly embraced the role of Senior Director, Professional Services, spearheading the management of Solutions Architects across the US, EMEA, and APAC regions.My journey took an exciting twist in 2020 when I was entrusted with the leadership of both the Professional Services Solutions Architects and the Solutions Engineering team at Marin. As a leader, I've always strived to lead by example, fostering a culture where growth thrives. My approach has been simple: challenging my team consistently, equipping them with the tools they need, championing their success and ensuring they have fun along the way. I thrived on crafting technological solutions that tackled intricate challenges in the digital advertising landscape. In this role, I was essentially a mini-CEO, steering my product with a strategic vision.My journey has also taken me across borders. During my time at DoubleClick, Inc., based in London, England, I was integral in shaping DoubleClick's search management platform, later known as DoubleClick Search. My roles ranged from Senior Technical Account Manager to Operations Manager and ultimately, Product Specialist. As Operations Manager, I skillfully managed a team of four, driving operational excellence.Beyond the professional realm, I cherish time with my family, indulging in my passion for coaching youth soccer and volleyball, exploring new destinations through travel, and diving into the world of literature with a captivating book.The road so far has been remarkable, and I'm excited about the endless possibilities that lie ahead.
