As a key leadership position, the Graduate Student Advisor to the Dean of Graduate Studies and to the Chancellor (GSADC) is the campus graduate student representative serving as a voice for graduate student concerns, needs, and perspectives. In addition to their work with the Chancellor, the Dean of Graduate Studies, the Graduate Council, and other campus administrators, the GSADC meets with graduate students, the Graduate Student Association (GSA), and other graduate student groups and organizations.

The Historical Resources Management Commission advises the City Council on matters pertaining to historical resources, maintains an inventory of historical resources, recommends the designation of historical resources and reviews applications for alteration permits for historical structures. Members of the commission are city residents who have demonstrated special interest, competence, experience or knowledge in historic preservation and the cultural heritage of Davis.

Currently, I write blog posts related to CHSSP initiatives, assist with programs that support teacher professional development, and develop educational resources. For instance, I helped write a paper on the California Recall for middle and high school students in the state. My most notable project includes an exhibit titled “Democracy by Participation: The Life and Legacy of Cruz Reynoso,” which I put together in collaboration with Shields Library’s Special Collections Department. An accompanying digital exhibit is forthcoming, which I put together with two history undergraduates at UC Davis, with generous funding from the Office of Academic Diversity. This summer, I will lead a team that will develop a curriculum project for primary and secondary classrooms.

Currently supervise a staff of Resident Advisors, approve and review program proposals, assist with departmental trainings, lead staff meetings, coordinate with various campus partners to develop versatile programming in the Campus Apartments community, assist with departmental outreach and presentations, serve as an "on-duty" staff member responding to emergency situations, contribute to the development of the Campus Apartments community by advising Resident Advisors, and perform basic office clerical tasks.

As a course reader, I attended Dr. Melinda Ritchie's Administrative Politics course (POSC183), tracked student in-class participation, graded midterm examinations (including multiple choice and short response essays), and graded term papers for 70 political science students.

Conducted research to support Dr. Ronald Loveridge in organizing the 5th Annual UC Riverside Solar Energy Conference. During this experience, I gathered data about solar industries and related companies in Southern California, participated in planning and preparing for the conference, contacted conference speakers, supported staff during the conference, and provided input during debrief sessions.

Developed a community with 120 continuing student residents (including graduate students), budgeted money for programming, created academic, professional, and social programs for residents, participated in conflict mediation between residents, served as an "on-duty" staff member, received extensive training on diversity, inclusivity, and sensitivity/confidentiality.
