I have over forty years on the job training and experience in the manufacturing sector including such positions as Manufacturing Engineer, Design Engineer, Sr. Equipment Designer, Project Engineer and Mechanical Designer for a variety of companies. My experience is not just in the technical field of manufacturing but also in management and machine shop operations. Such diversity has provided me with experience that translates into well thought out and cost considerate designs in the fields of machine, automation and mechanism design. I am currently involved in providing presentations for STEM initiatives for students so they can gain exposure to CADD design, project management, and 3D printing basics. Another ongoing project I am involved in is a series of presentations designed to help new Mechanical Engineers understand required skill sets that are expected in manufacturing.
