I have managed to find success inside and out of sport. I have an amazing family, I am a 4-time Olympian and Olympic Silver Medalist, and, unlike many Canadian Olympians, I have been able to start (and stop, and start again, and stop again) a career in the public sector.I live with no regrets. No matter what happens in my life I follow my heart, defend what I believe in and admit to my mistakes so that I can learn from them. Over the years this attitude has served me well and provided integrity to my Olympic Story and to my story.Now, I would like to share my story, raw and genuine, with your company or group event. Here's how it works: once the theme of your event is set I will sit down with you and your planning team to hear your story and to understand what the objectives are for your event. From that conversation I tease out stories from my Olympic and life journey that reflect your struggles, your challenges and your goals. In the end though, I tell stories, stories about things we all experience: success and failure, motivation and depression, friendship and betrayal, and so much more. There is a lot that has happened to this rower over the span of 4 Olympic cycles, and the most significant bits had nothing to do with sport - I searched for and found my birth family and I have 2 amazing, healthy children of my own. The richness of my story has shaped me into the man I am today, and I am grateful for that. I look forward to being able to share my story with you at your event!
