Visioncrest was an optical franchise that was acquired by Sepcsavers in 2007. Dave Chaffey and his two partners Shane Davie, and Dennis O'Keeffe (deceased), grew the business from one store to a chain of 25 outlets, establishing Australia's first optical franchise along the way. Dave's role in the business was initially as the principal Optometrist, then later, he ceased practicing Optometry to develop the franchise, as well as creating the custom point of sale software for the group, and assuming the role of Managing Director.
