• Month end closing procedures include reviewing recurring entries performed by staff and prepare general journal entries• Prepare financial statements, which includes balance sheet, income statement and cash flow• Prepare allocation entries and present consolidated financials• Prepare monthly closing schedule and present to staff• Analysis monthly statements and provide explanations for both budget and trend variances• Work with external auditors to complete yearly audit and review reports • Work with external accountants on preparation of tax returns• Prepare monthly board package, to include financial statements and summary of monthly activity• Work with staff to establish efficient procedures• Perform yearly evaluations of staff, discuss results and provide suggestions of possible improvements
