As Configuration Lead, responsible for all configuration, both standard R/3 and solution-specific. Standard configuration includes: Order types, item categories, Output, Partner, and Text determination, Incompletion procedures, Copy Control, Pricing, Billing, Billing Plans, DIP Profiles, Costing Sheets. Solution-specific config primarily consists of configurable Z tables that control various functions in the solution. Primary responsibility for unit testing entire solution. Through three cycles of Integration Testing and two Dry Runs, primarily responsible for config break/fix and costing sheet reconciliation. In each cycle, have primary responsibility for all config-related cutover tasks, including config validation, master data loads, executing standard generation and post-processing programs, and manual config. ALLOCATIONS: Configured and tested costing sheet to support overhead allocations at Bell. Solid mastery of how Bell (and A&D companies, in general) assess overheads. Tested Textron enhancement in costing sheet user exit, which stores rates and credits in Z tables. Also uses WBS groups to help accommodate the complexity of Bell’s Allocation Master.
