I am currently a software engineer at Google.I worked for over 4 years as a software engineer at LiveRamp powering their real-time integrations systems.Prior to this, I was a software engineer at Knewton working in the adaptive learning team. My primary responsibility was developing the models and software for Knewton's recommendation engine.Previously, I worked as a research engineer at the Child Mind Institute in New York City developing software to process and analyze neuroimaging datasets, using techniques in signal processing, machine learning, and statistical analysis.I completed my Master's degree in Electrical Engineering at Columbia University in New York City. There, I focused on methods and approaches in signal processing, machine learning, and computational neuroscience.Prior to my graduate studies, I worked as a Principal Engineer at a startup engineering consulting firm in the Philadelphia area, OTW Technology, Inc. There I honed my skills in statistical analysis, firmware development, circuit design, GUI development, database and website maintenance, and client relations.I graduated with my Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Villanova University in May of 2009, with a concentration in electronics and signal processing. My senior capstone involved work on a custom electronic expressive guitar pedal operated by a varying capacitive pad.In addition, I am a musician who composes, records, performs, and produces original and covered songs, particularly in guitar, banjo, djembe, tablas, and bass. I am also a distance running enthusiast and enjoy hiking, skiing, and rock climbing.
