As the Denise DeBartolo York Fellow I work within the Marketing Department focusing on Event Management. Our event's focus on team, community, and corporate events hosted throughout the Bay Area.

Within the Chiefs organization the Customer Relations department acts as the fan communication liaison for all game day and non-game day happens with the Chiefs and Arrowhead Stadium. In addition, I work with Season Ticket Holders to coordinate aspects of the pre-game presentation prior to kick-off and to insure optimal fan experience throughout all aspects of the sporting presentation.

Tasks included working

clients to

intimate

 events
 ranging

 guests.
In order to accomplish these tasks, I processed and
systemized all 
banquet 
event
orders
 to 
fulfill 
logistical 
needs 
of 
the client
 and all needed vendors. In addition, I created the employee manual, under the assistance of the Sales Director, to standardize policy and procedures for sales representatives. As an event intern I also was able to develop creative design elements including: event graphics, branding tagline, and event proposal presentations.

As a banquet captain at the Paso Robles Inn I work to execute each event with the upmost detail. Events at the Paso Robles Inn offer a fine-dining experience where the well trained staff can help accommodate every private or corporate event.

Opportunities and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: sponsorship servicing, database maintenance, game presentation, coordination of promotional programs and activities (contests, pre-game entertainment, intermission activities, etc.), promotional writing (game scripts, PA announcements & intern assignments for games), on-campus marketing, social medium maintenance and coordination, and events planning (Student of the Game, Adopt-A-School & other Mustang events).
