I am a seasoned telecom engineer, entered into the field in 1981, I started with Mitel and traveled all over North America with the R&D group, doing Field Trials on Mitel Digital-PBX's. After 12 years at Mitel, I moved to the USA and worked for one of the largest System Integrators on the east coast as their Operations Engineer. I worked out of Southern NJ, serving NJ, Delaware, Philadelphia, and as far north as Manhattan NY.I did a short stint in west-Africa, supervising a group of local telecom engineers, installing a satellite telephone system for the Nigerian Police Force, while living and working out of the Lagos office of Telemobile Nigeria Ltd. They were working in partnership with Seaboard Global Telecom, based in Brockville Ontario.Moving to BC, I have worked with various interconnects and have been self-employed, all in the telecom field. Finally joining GT Group Telecom in 2000, which later became part of Bell West.I am with RingCentral in Vancouver, as a Carrier Sales Engineer.Specialties: Cloud, Voice and data networks, both local and wide area, Telco services, including fiber delivered, Voice, Ethernet WAN and Internet access technologies.I am also a PC fanatic, I build and service windows based machines for friends and family. Having 9 PC networked in my house, I have loads of storage space.. (grin)
