About Daniel Mosher
CTS-I, CEDIA, Biamp, Q-SYS, (more certs) conference center and commercial AV Lead Installer / Service Technician / Field Engineer / PM / Director of Operations I have always gravitated to many different areas of engineering and construction. Since the age of 5, I have been tinkering with wood, metal, electronics (and Legos) to build new things that had a neat functionality and proper structural stability.I've been in the Audio-visual world since 1998, leaving behind a previous interest in automotive service and a position as a Jr Lab Technician for a pharmaceutical/cosmetics company, I soon saw my aptitude for computers and audio was a better fit for my career advancement. Starting primarily with computer hardware and software I spent 3 years learning as much as possible down to board level repairs. I then got a position as a computer rental technician, I would assemble and load custom operating system profiles onto rental laptops for large corporations (Morgan Stanley, Meryll Lynch, JP Morgan) while driving (and parallel parking) a 20 foot box truck throughout Manhattan. the future would repay my dedication for computer hardware and software as well as my industrial installation experience as both are always required in the audiovisual and broadcasting world.I advanced quickly in the corporate audiovisual and live event rental industry making Director of Operations. while designing and building case moded gaming computers as a hobby. From that point I felt a lower position for a larger corporation would be more beneficial for my career growth and experience, so I became a freelance broadcast installer for NBC Universal in thier studios at 30 Rockefeller as well as their Headend NOC center in Englewood Cliffs NJI remained there untill 2015 where I finally set forth on a long time desire to get away from the big city and suburban life moving to Wilmington NC which quickly started growing to be more of the same overdevelopment sprawling growth, during my 6 years there I worked for a few years at some Residential AV companies (very different) and was a traveling installer for Strategic Connections. Fast forward through Covid, I have moved to the semi-secluded forests of northern NC where I had been a Field Engineer for Intellicom for 2 years while also filling in as project management and senior installer for the large "CRAVE" NC courtroom AV project.Now I'm very happy to be part of Inter Technologies engineering group, focusing my borad experience exclusively into the audiovisual industry and the fine details therein.
