I spent close to 9 years in the Marine Corps working in the Law Enforcement field. The first 5 years I worked in military prisons and learned crucial security skills, and laws that I was responsible to enforce. The last half of my Marine Corps career I worked at Headquarters Marine Corps and lead investigations to locate and apprehend Marine deserters, I also conducted prisoner transfers all around the world to and from different military prisons. During this time I earned accreditations and certificates of training from U.S. Marshals in order to qualify to fly armed on commercial airlines with restrained prisoners. In December of 2016 I voluntarily left the Marines to support my family during a family members illness. I've been working as a security guard for federal buildings on a Department of Homeland Security contract for well over a year while I go to college to earn my Bachelor's Degree.
