As the CEO and majority shareholder of HB Intermountain Holdings, Dave Colling stands as a passionate believer in the power of great, thoughtful designs that impact people’s lives positively and profoundly. Dave firmly believes in the power of a well-designed space to provide the most efficient environment for people to work, learn, live, heal, and play. With a career spanning 35 years, this mindset has allowed for Dave to create lasting impact as he’s evolved throughout the contract interiors industry—with early experience at Armstrong World Industries, then Herman Miller, and ultimately HB Intermountain Holdings.HB Intermountain Holdings owns multiple interior products companies and has locations in four states and employs over 260 people. The organization represents major manufacturers such as MillerKnoll, Spacesaver, and Falkbuilt, while providing furnishings, custom modular interior construction, specialty storage, and floor coverings. They’ve recently launched a new collective workspace brand called Woven Workspaces that will provide a proof point for their ability to create, outfit and deploy remarkable workspaces. The flagship location is under construction on Las Vegas Boulevard and will open in the Spring of 2024.Dave also proudly defines himself as a “serial entrepreneur” who has created over twelve businesses during his career that include various distribution platforms for a variety of interior products, collective workspace and specialty contractors. His formal education consists of a B.S. in Marketing from Colorado State University (’89) and an MBA from Utah State University (’94).
