I have been an entrepreneur at heart my whole life, with great mentors that instilled in me early on to own a business. So at 24, I started driving commercially, hauling sheet metal and large steel bar joists. Then at 26, I went into business with my dad to build roof and floor trusses for the residential and commercial market in Texas. Over the years in construction, I worked in the marketing of foundation solutions where soil conditions cause damage due to expansive soil movement providing new ways to isolate the foundation from the high-pressure clay soil adds to foundations. My recent work includes an alternative construction method using Insulated Composite Concrete Forms (ICCF) to replace wood framing. This technique resists fire up to 4000 degrees (would work great in wildfire areas) and holds up to 250 MPH winds (CAT 5 storms in the coastal area). We should always strive to build back stronger, not the same. I moved to the Corpus Christi area in 2013 to help my son with the purchase of an existing Corrosion Protection Services company. Since then, I have worked in Business Development in the oil and gas industry and developed fantastic working relationships with several partners in the field.And now I'm back at VoidForm in South Texas.
