I am an experienced CS/Tech Teacher and AVID Mentor who decided to embark on a new journey, after the pandemic, as a consultant. I obtained a Graduate Certificate in Cybersecurity from Abilene Christian University in the Spring of 2022. I was hired almost immediately as a member of GenCyber's evaluation team. Later in the summer, they hired me to be a GenCyber Camp Site Visitor, too. Since I am an eLearning Specialist as well, I was hired to be a Cisco Net Academy Course Facilitator. I went on to become an AmeriCorps Member/ Lead for America Fellow which has trained me to be a Digital Navigator and an advocate for broadband equity.Since the Fall of 2022, I have definitely added project management skills to my existing skill set. Additionally, I worked as a Curriculum Development Manager and an After-school Program Designer for Latinx DLN which is my host site.Skilled in: Research, Grant-Funded Program Evaluation, Robotics, Digital Learning, Instructional Coaching, Educational Technology, and Curriculum Design for both Coding and Cybersecurity camps.
