Official (one year retroactive) title change to reflect new responsibilities.

An official promotion to senior management as the head of the QA department. My role and tasks are growing to include building up and training a new QA team and outlining the processes, procedures, test plans, and test automation aspects of QA.

Title update to reflect my more technical role in the company. My current job has a strong focus on Dev-Ops, QA, data management, and security. I am doing more on the back-end and management with system design, process creation, infrastructure, and high-level customer support.

My work centered around managing interns and part-timers in the QA department while also providing technical support to the entire company. My general work concerns performing bug tracking/testing/verification, tasking of the QA employees, creation, tracking, and documentation of testing processes and goals. On the IT side I provided server, application, and application data support, data analysis, and quality assurance in hardware and software testing. When it came to managing our systems infrastructure, I managed our Linux servers and VM support (AWS/Azure administration), website/webserver administration (Google Administration tools/AWS/Apache), E-mail server and accounts administration, assisting in local, remote, cross-country, and overseas project implementation, Splunk administration, employee / user accounts administration, release management, and software implementation and deployment roles. I also occasionally helped troubleshoot various hardware and software issues. (full-time salary)

After working as an Engineering Assistant for a year where I worked closely between product testing and the engineers building the product, I was brought on full time to provide greater technical support to the company. Here my focus was on Quality Assurance, but my responsibilities included an increasing role in our IT department working with our servers, back-end software, and general technical support. During this time I was trained by our primary IT specialist and the Director of Engineering in Puppet, Docker, and AWS, and was eventually given authority over the general tasking of our Quality Assurance interns. After about eight months I became the head of QA and was put in charge of a small team to this effect. (full-time hourly)

I was hired on to the HG team after providing them with some intern work doing compass hardware tests and documentation. In the Engineering Assistant role I was involved with testing, testing documentation, test-rig construction, research, and support.

Over the years I have been privileged enough to take part in a variety of different during and post school-day positions and special programs. I started substitute teaching and was quickly hired for part-time and special programs. These include but are not limited to: teaching assignments, lesson planning and implementation, standardized testing preparation and implementation, remedial program implementation, college prep education, writing/editing education programs, online education support, in-room tech support, guest lecturing, special topics debate, editing teaching materials for content verification, training teachers in the use of extra-classroom technology, teacher program proposal and outline production, teaching material production and editing, parent conferencing, tutoring, and team sports co-coaching.

In this position I began as an audio booth trainee and eventually became the senior audio technician. My jobs included running audio/video for live productions, plays, bands, weddings, funerals, other special events, and both local and guest speakers. Daily work included equipment maintenance, repair, purchasing, instillation, upgrading, documentation, and troubleshooting, as well as the training of in total fourteen other sound booth operators.
