Using deep knowledge of network telephony and Nuance software internals, work across teams to deliver software addressing specific, immediate needs of the organization and maintain legacy solutions. Project highlights:• DSP-based signal adaptations for Web Audio• Realtime audio forking: enhance existing hosted ASR with alternative audio processing • Semantic grammar editor: implement GUI module for legacy Flex-based hosted application development tool• node.js SIP integration: create extention module exposing simplified javscript API to ReSIProcate stack• SIP-based call distributor: groom traffic for improved resource utilization and application responsiveness• SSL authentication: amend existing HTTPS support in internal libraries to support client and server authentication• TTS tools: build Java-based GUI applications for audio generation, dictionary/filter management

Manage transition of a small group validating Nuance products on third party platforms including Genesys, Avaya, Cisco, and others. Design certification test process and coordinate certification requests with partner and product managers. Plan and drive certification requests to successful completion and maintain lab resources devoted to ongoing certification activities.

Developed and supported integrations of Nuance's core speech engine to third party platforms. Implemented protocol-based integrations using MRCP, SIP, and RTP.

Developed and supported software for IBM voice response subsystems ("custom servers") supporting Nuance speech recognition and various networked data servers.

Original company name was Digital Design. Completed efforts on a PLD-based multifunction peripheral, then developed C++ software for fax-over-IP network.

Started in hardware, implementing PLD-based designs with increasing complexity, then transitioned into system software (UNIX device drivers and a custom UNIX-like runtime).
