Following my passion of automation I sought out where I could make the most impact. I landed on the MyRackspace Dedicated Customer Control Panel Operations Team, a team a three when I started. My automation efforts allowed us to redirect resources and the team became just myself. I was solely responsible for all operations 24/7/365 and spent my time developing self help chat ops tools, fully automating the configuration and ensuring PCI compliance for multiple applications that are connected to multiple teams. During incidents involving multiple teams I often took the helm and coordinated all efforts to a resolution.
