Informix-based conversion of Justice Courts legacy court software to the State Court's court system.The Utah State legislature determined that all Justice Courts should centralize their data using the CORIS software application and database (Informix). My role as lead conversion analyst was to take the legacy data from the various county systems and convert it to the Informix database so it was readable in the CORIS application.The team consisted of 2-3 programmers and 1-2 QA personnel depending on timing and go-live dates. Over 50 courts had to be converted in the allotted time period.Various technologies were used including Informix stored procedure and scripting to discover and map data between systems.
