-Design and implementation of KPIs for Brazil Payments which include the Payment on Time (POT), a metric to measure the payments efficiency and another one to measure the manual postings vs. the automated postings. This allows to measure performance, identify gaps and implement action plans for improvement.-Responsible for all the AP processes design, implementation and migration from Brazil to Costa Rica, which included but is not limited to: invoice posting process design and testing applicable to regular vendor invoices, taxes, juros, freights, down payments and utilities, among others, in both indirectly in SAP transactions such as MIRO, FB60, F-47, F-51, F-44, as in VIM; payment process design and testing, creation of the SOPs for all processes, controls implementation, invoice intake process design and implementation, training of other analysts to avoid SODs, Month End Close activities, Bank Account Reconciliation support, etc.-USA payments reconciliation and followup when differences where found.-USA, Canada and Puerto Rico checks voids.-Colombia Concur expense reports processing and clearance when necessary, leaving reimbursements for employees ready to pay and to conciliate the T&E account.-Rejected payments followup and troubleshooting.-Support to external audit for credit recovery from vendors due to errors in payments. This includes processing the credits in SAP to deduct from vendors’ future payments, confirmations of refunds for the auditors, constant meetings with the auditors for status, and coding the invoices for the auditors fees.-USA, Canada and Ireland payments.

On my role as a P2P Senior Analyst my responsibilities included, but were not limited to:-BSR (Balance Sheet Reconciliation). Reconciled liabilities, down payments and GRNI (Goods Receipt No Invoice) accounts for the CARICAM region.-Quality Control. Performed daily revisions of the bookings from the previous day and assign issues through a SharePoint to guarantee the corrections of the errors.-Cheque Deferred Application. For Argentina only, performed the monthly application of cheques deferred so that they get reclassified from the cheques deferred account into the bank account once the cheque has matured. I also reconciled the cheques deferred account.-External audit support. In charge of coordinating the delivery of requirements from other departments and from P2P for external audits done by Ernst & Young, these audits monitor all payments, deposits and inventory movements in the company. I'm the SPOC within the BSC for these audits.-Back-End Monitoring. Member of the team that audits the employee expense reports on a quarterly basis, to guarantee the compliance to company politics on Travel and Expense.-Payment On Time (POT). In charge of the POT KPI, leading a group of analysts to execute monthly root cause analysis of the markets that didn't reach the target, implementing corrective actions, and presenting results both internally in the BSC and globally through CRM Department.-Continuous Improvement Expert. I'm an expert in Lean/6 Sigma, provided assistance with problem solving and trainings, using and teaching on different tools and techniques from both philosophies, including, but not limited to: PDCA, A3 Thinking, Ishikawa Diagram, 5WHY, Brainstorming, Service Performance Management (Voice of the Process, Voice of the Customer, Voice of the Employee, and Visual Performance Management included), GEMBA, RACI Matrix, Gantt Charts, Choosing By Advantages, KANBAN, etc.

AP processes migration from Trinidad & Tobago to Costa Rica, the stabilization of the AP processes migration from El Salvador, Dominican Republic, and assisted with Jamaica; these processes include, but are not limited to: vendor master maintenance (creation and update of vendors information), payment run review, coding of Non-PO invoices, helpdesk (assistance to suppliers' queries), validation of Purchase Orders for PO Invoices; also providing assitance in to book each invoice in JDE AS400 ERP. After working with the Central America and Caribbean region, I was in charge of the AP processes migration from Peru to Costa Rica, and supported the migrations from Ecuador and Chile, and gave guidelines and orientation for the migration from Colombia; the processes to be migrated in these instances were the same as previously stated, but for Peru I additionally migrated Taxes processes: the weekly revisions of Detractions (Detracciones), to guarantee they would be correctly applied, paid to the Government and deducted from the vendor's payment. On all these processes, I also implemented controls to guarantee the integrity of each one, and created and updated the SOPs for each one.I was part of a global project for the integration of Novartis and GSK, due to a corporate agreement between both companies, mainly in charge of the coordination of the payments that needed to be done to Novartis.

Responsible for the troubleshooting and follow up of outgoing urgent/critical payments for Guatemala, Costa Rica, Panama, Venezuela, Peru, Chile and Argentina (back up for Mexico, Colombia and Brazil).Responsible to carry on with the negotiation with suppliers for the recovery of credit memos to balance invoicing errors and discrepancies in the purchase orders.In charge of verifying purchase orders with special conditions in order to determine when they were ready to process invoices.Responsible for verifying corrections done in the system to set right invoices wrongly applied (due to internal errors)
