I enjoy working with people to make things happen with technology. Those "things" can be bringing new capabilities to the business, protecting people and systems, or anything that empowers people with technology. I like to collaborate and be connected to serve a larger purpose.As the IT Director at the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) at Carnegie Mellon University, I oversee our IT Services group. In IT Services, we bring together our four divisions to keep the SEI current, reliable, and secure. Our services include the service desk, collaboration technologies, infrastructure and operations, information security, cloud computing, compliance, SEI web properties, and more. We bring the business, people, and technology together.When I'm not at work you might find me on a trail (biking it, hiking it, or maintaining it) or turning a wrench at the karting race track.
