Started as an agent for Shannon & Lucks in October of 1992, but they sold their company to Weichert Realtors when one of the brothers died. After working for Weichert 3 years, a local company asked me to join, but they closed the location after 3 years and merged with a larger company. During that time, I was taking my classes to become a Graduate of the Real Estate Institute (GRI) and decided to continue to become a broker. Had my eye on an empty space right near the Van Ness Metro which is where I opened my own office on January 1, 1999. When the entire building was sold, we decided to continue working out of our property management office in Dupont Circle, but these days, I work mostly from home (and Maui in winter!). I passed my real estate exam in Hawaii this year and plan to associate myself with a local broker in Hawaii. I love Washington, DC for the international flair (I grew up in Germany and lived in the South of France for 12 years), but I don't like the cold and do like to swim in the ocean ...Fell in love with Hawaii in 1989 and bought a condo in Maui in 2003 and it's time for the next step ....

Eva Realty, LLC officially opened in January 1999 (created in 1998) at 4250 Connecticut Ave NW. However, in the summer of 2018, our landlord (Fannie Mae) sold the building to a developer who wants to do a major redo and did not want to sign a new lease for the retail space. Therefor, we moved to our satellite office in Dupont Circle which is located at 1511 17th St NW. In addition to real estate sales, we manage over one hundred rental properties in Washington, DC and Montgomery County.

We also manage properties for you, so please contact us for all real estate needs you may have. Our property manager is fluent in French and Spanish and I am fluent in German and French. Lots of experience and great references.
