About Dc Scarpelli

DC Scarpelli is proud to be a professional Type Nerd. His original training is in the theater, and much of his design life has been devoted to promoting arts organizations. He has branded numerous arts orgs from the bottom up, giving them a consistent public face from logo through key art, signage, and collateral, and giving them visual branding systems that would sustain them through years of growth. He is currently Creative Director for Berkeley Repertory Theatre.For many years, DC devoted his life to the students of the School of Interaction & UI/UX Design at the Academy of Art University, San Francisco. He was exceedingly fond of teaching, and succeeded in one of his goals: to create and inspire a small army of Type Nerds whose enthusiasm and obsessiveness about letterforms and the words they convey would spread throughout the world.
