Most of the formal engagements I handle are liquidations and receiverships, which I am involved with from start to finish.My work also involves analysis of financial and other business records to find out what went wrong - or who's to blame, as well as how it can be remedied. As Insolvency Manager since 2011 I was involved in the management of over a hundred company liquidations of varying size and complexity. These consisted both shareholder and High Court appointments, and covered both solvent and insolvent companies. We also traded on, managed and sold salvageable companies as going concerns.I undertook a full range of liquidation tasks, including: financial and investigative analysis, formal reporting, asset recovery and sales, and deal with banks, directors, creditors, staff, Customs and Inland Revenue.

Liaison with Government agencies, MAF biosecurity, NZ Food Agency, Auckland Council, Leasing agent, landlord and body corporate. Shareholder.

Frontline support to the Managing Director. Marketing and fostering client relations. Clients included main contractors and city councils dealing with infrastructure projects throughout New Zealand. I drafted tenders, and new conditions of contract. Working with Managing Director and Operations Manager, I also worked on process and project coordination. I also contributed to the company's accounting record keeping, and instituted a new credit application system allowing the company to secure debts owed to it on the PPSR.Where possible I enjoyed being on site managing installation teams on some interesting infrastructure projects, such as the new train stations added to the Auckland rail system.I held Site Safe, Kiwirail Induction and AC/DC cards needed to access work sites.
