I've always enjoyed finding the best in people. Even (Especially?) when they may be struggling to see all of the good in themselves. Whether they are family, friends, associates, rivals or even strangers, everyone you meet in life will teach you at least two things. Sometimes it requires a bit of patience, but you'll be glad you took the time. Ironically, the more you learn about others, allows you to learn even more about yourself.Anyone that knows me, or reads through my profile to remind themselves of how they know me, will know that I spent a great many years in the "corporate world". Although I'm proud of what I achieved, I do tend to wonder how "far" I could've gotten if I had a bit less empathy for others, and tried to be a bit more self-focused. I played the games, but maybe not as aggressively as I could have. As I've seen happen to many others over the years, I went through a "forced change of opportunity" a while ago. After I bounced around a bit while trying to regain my footing, I realized how important the "people behind the positions" were to me, and I found myself trying to help people achieve their goals. Unfortunately, that type of help doesn't always translate into financial success. Especially when you do it just because you like the helping part the most!So, I found myself exploring how to combine helping others while still helping myself and my family. A good friend suggested I explore real estate, because it may be a good solution for both sides of my needs. Thanks to the support of an incredible spouse, I was able to study and achieve my real estate license a number of years ago. And, with a good deal of "failing forwards" over those years, I ended up finding some solid success. I started a small real estate team, and we share the same pleasure of helping people in a time when they need more help than they may be aware. We protect our clients, and take their success in every transaction very personally. During this whole process, I've become more focused on our incredible Seniors, and love taking the time to hear the stories of their lives, and what brought us together at this time. And then helping guide them through their options for the next chapter in their stories. And, because this has become our process, it works very well for First-Time Buyers, or anyone that needs more time, support and communication through these odd times in real estate and in the world today.Honestly, I don't know who ever reads these. But, if you've read through this, I sincerely thank you for your time and look forwards to catching up!
