Consisting of 28 publications, 4 different job functions: Advertising Production, Creative Design, Digital Design and Online Template Ad Build equaling 30+ staff across three sites and a budget of 2.5 million. This includes:Operational Management : Direct management of the nine creative and digital design teams. Oversight of 27 production staff and contractors, as well as: Proactive management of workflow, processes and productivity, including scheduling, allocation and balancing of all design and production work for the three NSW sites, working around daily and weekly high and low production times to meet daily press deadlines.Studio management, creative consulting/art direction and project management: Brief in and project manage on all major creative projects and pitch work. Planning and project management of departmental special publications, in-house inserts and advertising features. Digital design/production: Direct Management of two Digital Designers and the departmental digital workflow including, all online advertising, invitations, flash based presentations, surveys/Edms. Process improvement: Managed multiple restructure and continuous improvement activities including: developing a customer centric business model. Stream lead of the selection, pilot, testing and implementation of an automated National Production System to streamline workflow

Liaised with sales, recruited employees and managed cultural issues to ensure business continuity and customer satisfaction during change over and beyond.Ran a studio of 6 Artists and Designers servicing strategically important publications: Manly Daily, Mosman Daily and North Shore times. Designed and created advertising solutions, features and special publications to be used in the state wide Cumberland newspaper network.Main point of contact for Marketing, Editorial and Sales for all briefing and scheduling of design and production work for the team.Youth Specific section: Creating Cumberland’s first youth specific lift out: Lava Entertainment that was adopted by other papers across the group and drove a review of all Cumberland's entertainment sections.
