I've always been passionate about software, especially web-based applications. Designing, building and maintaining web interfaces has been my bread and butter for nearly two decades compiling a laundry list of favored tools along the way, always looking for something new to try.I started building and designing websites in the 90s, expanding to interactive educational applications using emerging technologies like Director and Flash, developing with those tools to create interactive applications, games movies, and yes, complete websites.It wasn't long before the web started coming to a new platform of handheld devices and I quickly started to develop sites with multiple layers and ways to access the data for desktop and mobile while exploring responsive design and how to create immersive and beautiful interfaces using complex CSS and JavaScript instead of limiting the user to just a single experience.Then the web exploded. Flash was gone, no fade out here, just gone and suddenly the options for developing unique web interfaces, applications and amazing experiences was endless and full of new frameworks and tools to explore and learn to manipulate and mold into something new and fun.It kinda starts to sound like "I've done it all", but nope, not yet. I've had the pleasure of working with amazing, creative and wonderful people and given many opportunities to crazy, creative and sometimes even important work; and that's what I live for. That's what makes it all worth while. It's a journey and I'm always excited to see what comes next.
