TEGA is a mobile based, peer-to-peer research app used by some of the world’s leading development organizations to provide safer, faster, more scalable and authentic research around the world. Designed college-level curriculum for the Senior Inquiry Program at Jefferson High School, a dual credit program offered to the entire senior class; curriculum materials included facilitator guides, presentations, handouts, sample unit timelines and daily agendas. Implemented inquiry-based lessons, creating a learning environment that allowed for rich and challenging dialogue structured around the course theme, Race and Social Justice; class goals included Ethics and Social Responsibility, Communication, Diversity of Human Experience, and Critical Thinking.Supported students' academic endeavors; modified curriculum to adjust to student needs, presented post-secondary options and experiences, and challenged students to take action in addressing injustices.

Developed and managed a robust US-based volunteer program; designing on-boarding processes and orientation trainings, significantly increased volunteer opportunities, and more than doubled volunteer participation in the program within the first year. Curated and implemented public programming designed to educate and engage audiences in Portland: included lectures, family days, brown bags, special events and workshops; significantly expanded Mercy Corps' outreach and partnership in the local and Pacific Northwest region. Responsible for tracking all events against annual goals and objectives. Planned and organized professional development tracking systems; researched and scheduled expert guest speakers/presenter to meet growth goals; wrote job manuals for entire Action Center education team; worked to ensure cross-team connections, resource sharing, and on-going development. Designed and facilitated trainings for staff and volunteers to represent the organization, provide informative and interesting lectures, and accurately share relevant information. Facilitated annual month-long project management training for individuals from the MENA region, selected to be part of the U.S. State Department's Middle Eastern Partnership Initiative (MEPI); designed and implemented a workshop for the annual MEPI conference, training 120 participants in Rabat, Morocco: Troubleshooting Tough Problems in Project Development.

Collaborated with colleagues to write grant proposals; designed and implemented monitoring and evaluation (M&E) tools in order to effectively collect data and ensure the achievement of the Action Center programmatic objectives and grant commitments. Created curriculum and facilitated workshops covering a breadth of global issues, skill building, and community mobilization tools for approximately 20,0000 of youth and adults visiting Mercy Corps; led workshops with participants from over 22 countries around the world. Built and managed 9th Grade Counts programming serving low-income incoming freshman at-risk of poor performance in high-school; trained and supervised AmeriCorps VISTA members supporting the 9th Grade Counts program. Developed and implemented an outreach strategy to best coordinate with local schools; connected clients to a variety of social services agencies for housing, health, education, recreation, and financial assistance. Provided support to a caseload of over 40 underserved youth from diverse backgrounds, ensuring basic needs are met and that students are set up to succeed academically. Created client-specific programming to address mental, academic, or social areas of growth, utilizing resources at NAYA and within the community; staffed the after-school Learning Center to support students' academic success.
