A competitive semester-long program featuring placement in a Congressional and private office that seeks to amplify leadership skills and networking opportunities. During my time in the program, I had the opportunity to work with Ferox Strategies and for the office of Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett from Texas' 30th Congressional District.

Assisted the policy analysts of the firm and conducted legislative research for clients. Covered congressional hearings and developed memos for clients interested in key policy issues discussed in the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability, House Judiciary Committee, and House Committee on Homeland Security hearings.

Primary intake of immigration leads to nurture into clients. Monitored Facebook Messenger, ad campaigns and direct emails to organize leads into Pipedrive platform. Followed up with current clients and assisted with price/quote sheet updates.

Mobilize young female students on campus to participate in the election by hosting tabling events and classroom presentations. Organized a six series event called “Informed @ the Polls” to cover different topic about the upcoming election. Topics included “Covering AZ Candidates” and “20/10 - 20 Decisions, 10 Propositions.”

Lead phone banking and canvassing shifts with the goal to mobilize and educate 50,000 young latinx voters about the difference between a vote yes and a vote no on Proposition 308 - Instate Tuition for Arizona Dreamers.

Planned and hosted events at the Mesa Community College campus such as classroom presentations and arts & healing workshops through the Aliento @ MCC Hub for directly impacted students with the goal to transform trauma into hope and action.

Mobilized young Arizona Latinx voters through the Aliento VOTES campaign to encourage them to participate in the election. Ensured voters were educated about information regarding election and provided election day resources to voters.

Planned and executed events on campus to raise awareness of the Arizona's Future campaign along with peers. The Arizona's Future campaign is committed to ensure all Arizona high school graduates have access to instate tuition and public scholarships regardless of immigration status.Founded and served as president of the Aliento@MHS hub during my time as a fellow.
