IMPACT PERSONAL SAFETY COLORADO is part of an international organization of men and women dedicated to ending the cycle of violence by teaching empowerment skills such as awareness, communication, personal safety, and self-defense techniques to adults and children.Our courses are taught by female and male instructors, with a instructor/student ratio of 1:3. The curriculum, developed over a 20-year process, is the means through which students experience and embrace their power and self-worth.LIKE TYING YOUR SHOES Our experiential courses are taught in a safe, supportive atmosphere. The process introduces skills gradually, utilizing verbal and physical strengths students already posses. Skills students learn become part of “muscle memory,” stored and always accessible!

Denver International Airport - South Terminal Project:Worked as Project Designer/Manager/Liaison at Santiago Calatrava’s Denver satellite office, and in coordination with the New York, Zurich and Valencia design and structural teams, on concept finalization for the $500 million expansion of Denver International Airport’s south terminal. Major programmatic elements of the project included a light-rail train station, open-air plaza, new security and baggage handling area, and 516-room Westin hotel.

High-end, custom homes architecture.Projects included: - European Village of Homes, Greenwood Village, CO.: Managed a large scale, multi-family, residential project on a 11.4 acre site, consisting of 43 Brownstone units totalling 249,323 SF, 6 Gatehouse (flats) buildings totalling 104,118 SF, and 1 Clubhouse building (approx. 3,500 SF). Another project manager and I managed all the building types from concept design through Permit for the Brownstones, through Bid Negotiations for both the Gatehouse and the Brownstones, and through 70% CD drawings for the Clubhouse; this also included a third-party peer review of the Brownstone drawing sets by Davis Partnership. - European Village of Homes, Greenwood Village, CO.: Managed a custom, combined unit flat for a private client, in a 19 unit building. Working on this project included coordinating with the the Architect of Record for the building. - Ravenna Golf Club, Littleton, CO.: Managed 2 large Tuscan-styled homes from design phase through construction. - Private Residence, Roxborough Park, CO.: Managed a remodel to an existing residence. - Office standards: Lead a group of fellow coworkers in updating the office’s standards, including the office Revit template that sets up every new drawing set.

Worked on Grass House (desert residence) presentation for PA Awards 2004.Other projects worked on at SPF:a are as follows:- Schematic design phase of an additions/facelift for South Pasadena Middle School (SPUSD).- Worked in DD and CD phase for new office building for SPF:a.- Worked as part of executive architecture team on many phases of Getty Villa project, Malibu, CA including: - Bid set, CD’s, checked shoring drawings, and Construction Admin. for North Campus - Bid set, and Construction Admin. for South Parking - Construction Admin. for Museum - CD’s, and worked closely with structural engineer to achive a workable solution for Museum, North stair - Job Captain for casework/millwork Bulletin & Record Drawings, and Construction Admin. for Ranch House- Also worked on Egyptian Museum competition, concrete shop drawings for Skirball Center Amphitheater, and briefly on structural drawings for Gold-Friedman Residence.

Worked for Austrian firm Coop-Himmelblau in their Guadalajara, Mexico office.Schematic design and development of large scale entertainment and shopping complex. One of eleven architectural projects on site; our office had a key influence in master plan decisions. Strong use of computer as a design tool.
