The education committee represents all five EMC research masters. As class representative and member of the education committee, I wrote a widely supported recommendation named 'Joining forces' which advocated for eliminating barriers for taking courses at adjacent research masters. I started my research at the Department of Cardiology working on the initial write-up of a systematic review on the implantation of tricuspid valves during LVAD implantation after which we refined the search and expanded its scope. The article has been published in the European Journal of Cardiothoracic Surgery. The second project I am involved in is a systematic review of 38 articles about clinical outcomes of tricuspid valve replacements which is currently in the process of being written.
