We seek that each of the developments (in hardware and software) are scalable and robust.In the field of hardware, the main challenge has been to adapt self-service electronics to a hostile environment such as animal protein production farms (chickens and pigs). This has led to multiple mechanical challenges as well as in the design of the PCBs which, to be scalable, must be produced with high quality (IPC) and passing regulations such as the FCC to enter the North American market.In terms of firmware development, challenges of robustness have been overcome to increase availability and ease of the support. This has been achieved by implementing various mechanisms that act as a supervisor when it comes to operation. All this without leaving aside the optimization of energy consumption of the various devices.At a higher level, I have participated in the development of a cloud structure that allows scalability, cost optimization and the implementation of features such as firmware upgrade by "air" or FOTA (Firmware over the air).
