About Dave S.

I'm an experienced hardware quality and reliability engineer with a passion for devices that positively affect people's lives and the world around us. I've developed and executed hardware reliability test plans on a variety of devices from handheld electronics to wall-mounted fitness machines. I've performed reliability analysis on small-batch hardware as well as large sample-size groups.Having been on both sides of hardware quality (both field failure analysis and reliability testing prior to product release, I have a unique perspective on the world of REL. In addition to this, I have been on the front-lines speaking directly to customers about the failures that they are seeing and experiencing, which gives me a uniquely customer-centric approach to HW Quality.In addition to the above, I also have experience collecting, analyzing, and interpreting both reliability test data and field failure data.
