In this role, I served as a member of U.S. Representative Tom O'Halleran's official staff. I was awarded a Wounded Warrior Fellowship (now Green & Gold Congressional Aide Program) to serve Arizona's first congressional district, ranging from four corners in the Navajo Nation to the Grand Canyon up north all the way down to Oro Valley and Maricopa in the south. This incredibly diverse and beautiful district included the municipalities of Flagstaff, Sedona, Show Low, Globe-Miami, Camp Verde, Window Rock, Springerville, and Safford. The lands and waters covered in our district included the sovereign communities of the Navajo, Hopi, Havasupai, Yavapai-Apache, White Mountain Apache, Gila River, Ak-Chin, Tonto Apache, Zuni, San Juan Southern Paiute and San Carlos Apache people.My policy portfolio focused on Veterans issues, Defense, Water, and tracking fiscal interaction between federal, state, and local government.My daily duties included policy research, legal research, planning and facilitating meetings between the congressman and stakeholders, advising the congressman on state, local, and national policy issues, managing and developing stakeholder relationships, and conducting congressional inquiries with federal agencies on behalf of constituents.

Public health policy research and team management for a talent, diverse group of approximately 30 researchers focused on capturing, tracking, and analyzing national and sub-national government policy responses to the COVID-19 pandemic. In this role, I am responsible for overseeing and directing data collection across all 50 US states and coordinating with regional and global research teams to produce high-quality data and research documents detailing state and national policy actions.
