I established and grew Atlas Divine, an iconic Leederville fashion boutique in 1993, originally importing labels from Europe that were cutting edge for the WA market, such as House of Holland, Patrick Cox, Duffer of St George, Katharine Hamnett and W.<. I sourced from European trade shows in Europe such as Pret a Porte and 40 degrees, and widened choices by stocking labels like IAMGIA, Joy Rich, Karen Walker, Romance Was Born, Bec & Bridge, Rollas, Dr. Denim, For Love & Lemons.Importing was undertaken using online buying platforms such as Joor, Nuorder and B2B.To showcase and engage the Atlas Divine brand with our target market and position the brand as a leader in fashion and the arts, I directed a range of iconic events - and creative controlled promotions and parades at Connections Nightclub, James St club, Dive Bar and Jack Sue gallery.One of the highlights of my career as a Founder and Director of Atlas Divine is that I dressed celebrities including Heath Ledger; Toni Collette; Chris Judd; Nat Fyfe and many local bands and musicians such as End of Fashion, Felicity Groom, Little Birdy and San Sisco.Key achievements include:- Identifying and introducing trending fashion items to Perth market- Building an iconic business through product sourcing, sales and growing the customer base.- Building social media presence organically - Facebook 8000+ and Instagram 7000+ followers.- Developed and managed budget and financial aspects of business.- Built a positive and motivated staff with our"styling and service" focus being an extraordinary culture and managed the team to maintain this culture and drive sales. In order to provide a more adult oriented focus on the Leederville business precinct (18-30) I was engaged to launch Leederville Square, working with Leederville Connect (a local NFP community engagement group) and major sponsor City of Vincent. I coordinated a volunteer based team and launched “Squaresville” promoting the new town square in Leederville with a major event on 31st May 2019. I successfully procured sponsorship, booked the DJ’s+ and liaised with local traders and tailored the branding to engage the target market. The event was a huge success, attended by over 800 patrons. Retailers and Food & beverage outlets including the Leederville Hotel saw a massive increase in sales on the night some by up to 50%. I was an active Member of the Vincent Working Group with Mayor Alannah Mc Tiernan, then Mayor John Carey. The group worked on transforming the City of Vincent and promoting open lively entertainment and leisure spaces in the community.Core achievements included:- Transformed the Skate park in Leederville into a free zone and band venue in order to engage the local youth and deliver a more environmentally sustainable space.- Judging panel member for the selection of an artist (from 15-20 submissions) for permanent sculptures as public art.- Created a new space “Oxford St Reserve” to enrich and enliven the community. Assisted with design and implementation of the activation of street scape, public parking, appealing and creative park features and local amenity.

Seminyak, Bali, Indonesia

Established and ran Bali restaurant, bar and function centre - Divine Wonderland in Seminyak, Bali. https://www.facebook.com/divine.wonderland Designed the three-level interior based on an Alice in Wonderland theme with a cool twist.Every piece of furniture and painting was designed and created from scratch for the restaurant and function room. Successfully grew the business with fellow partner, and sold it to return to Perth for family reasons. Ran and costed all functions, created the menu and worked front of house.Hosted events such as Taj Burrows birthday and the Bang Gang DJ’s launch both attended by approximately 700 patrons.
